You should notice resin on the agarwood chips melting as it heats. If you do not notice this resin melting, then the oud chips you are using are of poor quality. Retry with quality oud chips; we can guarantee that it will produce the scent.

Unlike coal, which heats the oud wood for minutes and then burns out the wood, this burner will gradually heat the resin inside the oud wood to produce the oud scent.
